Fino Is Here

Friday, November 16, 2007
wow.. this morning when I was bathing, Mr Doz suddenly woke up and told me that my bike is ready for collection! *cool*

Immediately, I SMS my boss to see if he allow me to take the day off to go collect my bike but as we got an event at Cinelesiure, boss doesn't allow me to take leave as he had meetings to attend, instead, he allow me to leave earlier and I told him that I'll take the whole day shift tomorrow.

At 5pm, Mr Doz and DY came to fetch me to the bike shop. Feel excited and eager yet with a fear of riding on the road, I started my Fino engine and waited patiently for Mr Yang to move to the front to lead me to the caltex nearby. (pump a total of 2.94L of SlvTechron that cost Mr. Doz $5.46.)

1st start of was pretty scary! I mean, never in my life I rode or drive on the road, not after I got both my license.

On the way to AMK Central (before that, pop-by at DY's gf house to pick her up), I was been horn by 2 cars (as to what I remember cos Mr. Doz said he only remembered one), was tailgate by a car and also suddenly overtake by another sport car. *phew* erm~! there wasn't any 'P' plate on my bike so .. naturally, I guess people though I'm a season rider and thus show no patient to me.

Had Fish & Co at AMK Hub. *hee* Approximately $50 per couple. o~! We meet Eeyore and Ivy there too!

Ride home was must more better. Guess I'm a bit use to it and was going on expressway, straight road all the way thus was a bit easy for me but ... STUNT happens when I was trying to turn up the slope to my house multi-story carpark *faint* I guess I didn't slow down enough and thus the bike went straight towards the wall! My very first reaction was to turn the handle so that it change course and to my suprise, it works. *phew* Mr. Doz was almost mad at me that I did such dramatic thing and best of all, there the regular group of malay crowding around the entrance!

I promise I'll do the bend better the next time! *God please guide me!*

Kiss me Good bye by Angela Aki

Monday, November 5, 2007
Here is one of the song I like. Super nice singer and smoothing song. She sang a Japaneses version as well as a English version. *cool*

English Version
You say that my love is all you need to see you through
But I know these words are not quite true
(So) here is the path you're looking for, an open door
Leading to worlds you long to explore

Go if you must move on alone
I'm gonna make it on my own

Kiss me good-bye, love's memory
Follow your heart and find your destiny
Won't shed a tear for love's mortality
For you put the dream in my reality

As time goes by I know you'll see this of me
I loved you enough to let you go free

Go, I will give you wings to fly
Cast all your fears into the sky

Kiss me good-bye, love's mystery
All of my life I'll hold you close to me
Won't shed a tear for love's mortality
For you put the dream in my reality

Kiss me good-bye, love's memory
You put the dream in my reality

Japanese Version
Anata wa mayotte, ite mo
Doa wa aiteru yo
Futari no sekai dake de wa
Mitasarenain deshou

Hane o ageru kara
Shinjite tobe-pa ii

Kiss me good-bye, love's memory
Anata o ushinattemo

Kiss me good-bye, sayonara
Atarashii watashi ni kawaru

Kiss me good-bye
Kiss me good-bye

Kiss me good-bye, love's memory
Atarashii futari ni kawaru nara

Kiss me good-bye, nakanai
Anata o aiseta kara

Anata o aiseta kara

Japanese Version's English Translation
Even if you are lost
The door is open
Aren't you satisfied
With a world for us two?

Because I'll give you wings, you should believe and fly

Kiss me good-bye, love's memory
Even if I lose you

Kiss me good-bye, farewell
I'll change into a new me

Kiss me good-bye
Kiss me good-bye

Kiss me good-bye, love's memory
If we change into two new people

Kiss me good-bye, I won't cry
Because I was able to love you

Because I was able to love you

Dark Eye Rings

Friday, November 2, 2007
Been very bothered by my dark eye rings for many years and today somehow I decided to surf the net to get some solution.

Source:
http://www.indiaparenting.com/beauty/article.cgi?art_id=72&sec_id=3 and http://www.pioneerthinking.com/op_darkcircles.html

There are many contributing factors to the development of these dark circles and some of these factors are attributed to our daily lifestyle, such as:
  • Lack of sleep, sleeplessness or disturbed sleep
  • Short and irritable temperament
  • Emotions such as jealousy, irritation, anger, and unhappiness
  • Iron deficiency
  • Genetics too could predispose you to developing dark circles.
  • Drinking an excess of beverages that contain caffeine.
  • Smoking
  • Allergies
  • Thyroid problems
  • A lack of iron in your body during menstruation. This often contributes to dark circles, which is why some women have a tendency to develop dark circles during their period.
Remedies
First of all, try and figure out the reason you have developed dark circles. Have you always had them? Are they a recent occurrence? Does your mother have dark circles under the eyes as well? Once you can pinpoint the cause for dark circles, it would be much easier for you to get rid of them.
  1. Are you allergic to something? If yes, work on avoiding the allergens.

  2. Apply Vitamin E to the area under your eye. You could open up a Vitamin E capsule, and apply a little oil. Swallow the rest of the oil. This not only helps you get rid of dark circles, but also reduces puffiness around the eyes. In addition, regular application of Vitamin E delays the onset of wrinkles. /orApply creams that contain Vitamin C.

  3. Inverted asana postures work wonders for dark circles.

    Try doing the sarvangasana everyday.
Often dark circles and under-eye puffiness is caused due to sinusitis.
Jal Neti is extremely beneficial in such cases, as it internally cleanses your entire facial region, rejuvenating it. Do the Jal Neti at least five times a week to clean out your entire nasal passage.

  4. Swallow a capsule of cod liver oil everyday. It strengthens eyes.

  5. Take a teaspoon of tomato juice, a few drops of lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and a little flour, enough to make a paste. Apply this paste to the under-eye area, and wash off after fifteen minutes.

  6. Drink at least ten glasses of water everyday. There is no stressing this enough. If you do not drink at least eight glasses of water everyday, you are not providing your body with as much water as it requires for flushing out toxins. Do not wait until you are thirsty before drinking up. By the time your body cries "I'm thirsty!", you are already severely dehydrated.

  7. Avoid stepping out in the sun, especially between noon to four, when the sun is at its strongest. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes, and the delicate skin around it, from the harmful effects of UV radiation.

  8. Apply a cold, used tea bag to your eyes. You could also applied used, cold, herbal tea leaves to your eyes, to sooth them.

  9. Apply a concealer to the area under your eyes, to hide dark circles. Use a colour that is every so slightly lighter than the shade of your skin. Apply the concealer gently; do not stretch or pull the skin from this delicate area.

  10. Lie down, close your eyes and apply cucumber or potato slices to your lids. Leave on for ten minutes and remove. Wash the area with cold water. This soothes tired eyes instantly, and helps boost blood circulation in the under-eye area.

  11. Try out dark circle remover creams available in the market. Make sure they are of a recognized brand before applying them to your face.
Home Remedy for Dark Circles:
  1. Using Almond Oil

Almond oil as we know is an excellent natural emollient and its fine texture and moisturizing properties is perfect for any skin type. Ayurvedic practitioners love Almond oil and they have been using this oil for dark circles.

Almond oil is readily available from health and aromatherapy stores as it's commonly used as a carrier oil. Carefully rubbing a little in to the skin around your eyes each morning and night should leave the skin softer and more supple.

  2. Using Tomato and Lemon

Tomato is rich in Vitamin A, C and Iron, whereas lemon can act as "natural bleach". By combining the two ingredients, you will notice the dark circle will lightens after a few days of treatment.

To conjure this mixture, take one teaspoon fresh tomato juice. Add to it 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice and a little less than a teaspoon of gram flour. Mix all these thoroughly to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the dark circles around the eyes and leave for about 10 minutes.

Before it becomes too dry, start removing by rubbing very gently with your fingers. Later, wash your face. This application is recommended once daily. More quantity of the ingredients can be taken in the proportion specified to have sufficient amount to apply on the whole face.

  3. Using Cucumber Juice

Cucumber has cooling and astringent properties that are very good for tired eyes. This remedy is a "quick-fix" to any eyes woes.

Squeeze the juice from a cucumber and cool it in the refrigerator for an hour or so. Add a little lemon juice. Make cotton pads and dip into the mixture. Place on your eyes for 15 minutes. The effect is cooling and relaxes your eyes.

Make sure to wash the area thoroughly afterwards and apply a little almond oil around the eyes to moisturize the area.

  4. Using Grated Potato

Another effective home remedy is peeled and grated potatoes. Firstly, grate the potato, wrap it in thin cloth and place it over the eyes. Use this overnight at least three times a week.

Make sure to wash the area thoroughly and apply a little cream or oil around the eyes to moisturize the area.

  5. Using Metal Spoon

This is one of the most effective "Old Wives Tales" that don't need much effort. :)

Cool a metal spoon under the cold tap for a few minutes, dry off the water and hold the spoon to your eyes for at least sixty seconds. Be gentle; don't press too hard.

Fino or Gilera

Went for a test ride of the new Yamaha Fino. *cool* It very vintage and cute but it doesn't have got any speed and probably no resale value.

Yamaha people quoted me 4.2K and offered to give free helmet, bike cover, box. Should I?

We head to Loois as well cos Mr. Doz need to pay his bike installment. So we asked the uncle there. He advise me not to get Fino instead, he offered me a 2nd hand Gilera Runner, new model at 5.2K .. should I?
