Lazy Posting

gosh! I'm so lazy to update my blog. Last few days was so eventful as well as tire.

[26102007]
Went to Kulai for dinner. That day was terrible. Before meeting up with the group - Vince, Deyang and Kaipei, Jeff and Ivy, Joseph, Cheng Sing, Gerard; we went with Gerard to meet the Kruzer at "Old School". Was kind of reluctant to even step out of my cosy house but Mr. Doz wanted me to accompany him so badly. So dragging myself, I went with him.

"Old School" was quite a nice place, nice ambiance. A very nice place to chill out! Around 10:40pm, we move off from there and head to GP Esso to meet up with the rest.

Gerard and Mr. Doz swap bike to ride (don't worry, both their bike have each other as sub-rider) and who know, disaster happens after the enter the Singapore custom. Gerard stop half way through the bridge I didn't notice until we reach M'sia custom. IZ told us that Gerard ran out of petrol *faint*. He end up pushing the bike to M'sia custom *poor Gerard*

Mr. Doz "offered" to take over the "duty" of pushing his own bike after that. *haha* Initally we wanted to try our luck to see if we are able to reach GP Esso before the fuel went 100% empty but once we out of the bend, the bike gave out! So Mr. Doz ask Gerard to pillion me pass the tow and wait for him there while he push his bike over. *poor Mr. Doz*

After the tow,Ger and me waiting for quite a while (DY called to ask where we are at this moment) and finally Mr. Doz was spotted but with a malay rider pushing Mr. Doz bike using the pillion footrest and his group around Mr. Doz. This scare me!

Gerard and I stunt for a while before realising we should actually catch up with them to make sure Mr. Doz is safe. While riding towards Essos I didn't notice any bike and upon reaching Essos, I don't see Mr. Doz. Worried as I am but there nothing I can do. Stoopie Doz got no auto roaming. All I can do was go over and update IZ about what happen so he decided that he will ride back to see if he do see Mr. Doz. *weep*

After a few moments of worrying, Mr. Doz is back from the petrol station beside! Please Mr. Doz!!! Do not be so drama the next time ok! I'm very worried. *arbish*

After all the drama created by Mr. Drama King, we still manage to had our "dinner" at Kulai Town - You Meng Restaurant. Wach person spent approximately RM$13.

Body Shop Charity Makeover .. yeah!
Signed up for the makeover ($40) together with Glad and Ivy on Fri, 28 Sep 2007. Made a appointment at 11:05am. It so early and on top of that I slept at 4am in the morning. *faint* Nonetheless, I still manage to wake up in time and reach earlier then them (although Glad was the earliest to wake up). *haha*

Mr. Doz forgot his camera so he end up S.O.C with Zero while Eeyore busy snapping Ivy. *hee* o~ We bought the makeover photos as well ($8).

After the shot, we head for brunch at Sakae Sushi. 6 of us eat a total of 36 color plates, 5 red plates and 6 chawamushi, costing a total of $126.30.

After meal, we went bike hunting. I'm so eager to get a bike after what Uncle Elgan told me. He said something like "Since you like bike so much, you mustn't let $ affect you. If you think you can afford now, get it! For the sake of your passion! If later on you feel that you can't afford that bike anymore, then sell!" hurmp! maybe he doesn't sound this way but at least that how I interpreted it. *haha* erm~! I strongly agree on the 1st part but definitely not the 2nd half. I feel getting a bike is a long investment especially if I want a new bike. Got to plan a few years ahead before I get 1.

So, off we go to AS Poon changi branch because Juvena said she say saw a sweet vespa that I'll probably like. After a few "sit' trial and bike recommendation, the sale person told me to get Yamaha Fino. I don't quite like the "head" area but later was convince but the cuteness and vintage of the bike after I did a few search on the google.

James, the sales rep, quoted us $4700 before insurance with 5% interest rate. The insurance will cost approximately $900. I'm still considering if I should buy or not due as the bike has got little power and slow speed. I'm afraid I'll end up preferring good speed then to vintage, cute bike.

The make-up

Wednesday, October 17, 2007
Doz didn't manage to surprise me as planned yesterday so today, he continue to do what he wish to.

7:30pm, he pick me up off work and we head to Vivo City and had dinner at Marche! It been a long time since I last been there. *drool*

Doz actually wanted to do a hand wax but didn't manage to as the person close shop early today. It very nice of him to come out with this idea but seriously I guess is a little waste of money and also considering my room got no place to put a fragile wax.

Anyway, thanks Mr. Doz.

While waiting for him, smart Mr. Doz forgot to engage 1st gear while he park on the down slope and the bike went rolling down and my helmet drop off the bike and rolled down the road *weep*

Approx 05:00am
We set off through North-South Highway until we reach our 1st fuel stop at about 7++am. Due to festival, the petrol station is not operating *faint* We end up having breakfast at a nearby Chinese coffee shop. Me and Mr. Doz had maggie noodles + curry veg + Tea-O and Bee Hoo + sausage + luncheon meat + Tea-Tarik respectively. ( RM 6.10 ).

After breakfast, we set off again. While I'm trying to put on my ear piece that belong to Ms Shan, I realise that the left side rubber piece drop off. Sad and having images of how Ms Shan will getting pissed over it, I spotted something black and rubbery on the road a steps distance away from us. I went over to take a look and YEAH .. it the ear piece rubber *haha*

Off we rode again until our next petrol stop (didn't manage to pump at the 1st stop). It located at some ulu place which I don't know where it is. *Move off again*

Finally around 10:30am, we reaches Tasik Chini aka Lake Chini. There was a slight delay as Jocelyne (mamajo) got involve in an accident as she self-skidded on the way up to Lake Chini.

Upon reaching Rajan Jones' guest house, we settle down in the 'lobby' area. The only room that we have access to at that time is Room 2. So everyone shifted their luggages into the room after dazing around lazily before they prepared themselves and off to lunch at the diner house.

Our lunch is been pack as a large group of us is going tracking in the jungle (I'm not involve! haha Cos Mr. Doz think he need rest). So while the group is tracking, we bought our lunch back to the guest house to eat. Jocelyne was with us as she was injured from the earlier skid and though she kind of a mama age, she is been control by youngster like us. *haha* She had to be constantly reminded that she is injured and refrain from doing a lot of this. As for me, I make sure she waited 30 minutes after meals before she take her medication. But she was so impatient and keep wanting to swallow it down. *interesting*

Just before dinner time, the tracking group came back and noise were all over. Leeches bites marks everywhere around their leg, sweat, wet and dirty. Almost immediately, a few of them went to shower. After all the cleaning up, we were given our room keys. Mr. Doz and me took room 6 (at the back) and we requested to have join room with Gerard so they took room 1 (at the front). It kind of like shortcut for us. *haha* Before we head for dinner, we quickly burn the anti-inset candles *haha* A bit kia su ho!

Had a romantic dinner at the diner house as there no bulb. They uses kerosene lamp and candle. Kind of dark and you can't really see what your eating. After filling our stomach, we entertain ourself with what ever we see. *haha*

For the 1st time in my life, I seen so much firefly around the trees area. Attempted to capture a photo of them but can't make it. Fooling around with scary images and stuff when we saw the village children is carrying logs to an area, then did we realise they actually arrange a performance for us. We have a campfire built for but didn't manage to get it burning as the logs were damp due to afternoon raining. However, the village children still perform for us as they planned. After that, its Oink Oink time.

Woke up at about 7++am the next day. Yawn! I'm a little lazy to type any more. For more details, read Mr. Doz blog at dozdoz.blogspot.com! *haha*But nonetheless, I'll show you all the images. There a lot though so... enjoy!

Malacca Trip Day Trip

Sunday, October 7, 2007
[06102007] This is my 2nd trip up m'sia with Mr Doz. hee The 1st trip was up Frazer hill *excited* Another one will be coming on the 1310'07 *eager*

Early morning at about 6:30am, I woke up an prepared myself to move off. Reaches GP Esso at approx 7:10am but to my surprise, only a few riders had arrived. I don't see the organiser. *faint*

We waiting for a very long time before the organiser arrived which was at 8:15am. Upon arrival, he still gave himself excuse that though he was late, he was still within the arranged schedule. *faint x2* Also saying that he did update the new itinerary but hey, you update at such a late hours, most people might had already been asleep. *bish*

Finally at 8:15am, we had a briefing and successfully move off as planned at 8:30am. There a total of 15 bikes and 2 family cars. We had 2 pit stop before we reach Malacca. Doz taken the roles of a sweeper. Ask me what a sweeper do, I actually dunno. All I know is when every Doz need the other rider to move faster, I will have to "sweep" my hand to indicate it to them. *haha* Everytime I do that, I'll sing that "shao tor kar" song. Mr Doz was able to hear me because we borrow the pillion-rider communication device from Mr Penguin (Thank Penguin)!

We arrived at Malacca main town at approx 12:30pm, had our fill at the famous chicken rice stall, the chicken rice is roll up into a ball unlike the usual one we ate. The funny thing is when the auntie serve us the meal, Mr Doz went all surprise when she place 2 big plates of fishball. *haha* Those "fishball" was actually the rolled up rice. *haha* The meal include of cause, the rice ball, chicken + an assam fish and vegetable. After lunch, we head to a nearby stall and ate chendol. The chendol was nice but it was also super sweet. *eek*

After makan session, we the day tripper decided to follow the others to their apartment that they going to stay to have a look and at the same time, take a break and cool ourselves down. The weather was really hot and we wore like riding gear! *sweat*

We "hollanded" quite a while before we reach that. The place was pretty spacious, not very expensive and best of all, got aircon and TV.

After a rest at the apartment, we head back to the town as one of our mates wish to buy something. After which, we head back to Singapore. But before that, we had dinner at Tian Lai, located at GP Town. A place for cheap and yummy "Ze Char"

Reaching home at near 12am. Totally flat and tire! Nonetheless, it was fun. Hopefully, the next time round, Mr Doz will get a touring bike. *haha*
